Whistler Photo walk

Hello

I was suppose the write about the whistler photo walk like last week.
But i didn't and have no good reason for it.
Here is it then on 27 of may Matt Walker how organize the walk.
Invite every body to come out by the Whistlerphotowalk on facebook.
My self invite a friend of me and i think she really like it.
It a night of photography and geeking out.
A buns of people come out and hang out for a coupe of hours.
This time it was it early evening.
So you chould try long exposure photography.
First we when to a river and try some stuff out until it got dark.
Played some more around town.
Here by 1 photo of the night and it was a good time.

July 18 it will be world wide photo walk by scott kelby from PhotoshopuserTV.
Right now there are 444 city and so 6000 people doing the walk.
There will be one in Whistler.

Photo shoot

I did a Photo shoot 2 days ago with 2 of my friends.
One was inside of my house. Move all my furniture around to create a studio.
Rented lights from my friend Matt Walker that include this.

1 X Balcar concept B3 Battery control
2 X Balcar concept Z4 Lights
1 X Pocket wizard plus Digital reciever and 1 transmitter
and a couple of differed sizes of Dynaphos soft boxes

First was the inside shoot and i had some idea's about what i wanted.
Found it was pretty hard to get what i wanted.
Don't think i got the lighting right but it was the first try.
Directing the model was hard but fun to do.
But end the end we got into it and got some fun Photo's.
These are for my tutorials on touch up's.

Second was outside and that was really fun.
I though we had tons of light out still, but for the camera it was already dark.
First we when to a spot found there was not enought blue sky to put the model agains.
So we move location and we had some really good results.
The model was easy to work with.
Moved for the lens and just played, that was nice for me.

So today I was on my way to a meeting with the girls of The new Festival that is happening in the Squamish Valley

But on my way there I toke some Photo of the mountains around there
This is my first really try on doing HDR photography

What is HDR photography: look it up on Wikipedia and this what it sad
high dynamic range imaging (HDRI or just HDR) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows.

So the photo you will see here is made out of 4 differed photo
With all differend shutter speed settings
so you will get everything in the right exposure so no blow out sky or to dark of a for ground
